How to watch Game of Thrones season 8, episode 3 stream online from anywhere Posted: 28 Apr 2019 02:04 PM PDT Welcome to a spoiler-free guide on how to watch Game of Thrones episode 3 online. If you've been keeping track and watching the trailers you will know that this is the big one. Featuring, the longest battle scene in history, yep that's right - in history, this is going to be one to tune in for. Unlike the first two episodes of this season, episode 3 is set to be all action. Expect typical Game of Thrones-style warfare and loss of main characters, only three episodes in and this is the episode to change everything. So if you're here pre-planning your viewing party, this is the place to be to see how to watch Game of Thrones season 8, episode 3 online. We've tracked down the streaming services, costs and times for the third episode so you can catch it as it goes live. With a run time of an hour and 22 minutes, this episode feels more like a small movie than an episode of a show. We would attempt to catch you up on seasons 1-7 in preparation for the new episode but considering there's 2 days, 15 hours and 30 minutes worth of content before this season even started...it might take us a while. Just know, this season has started off big and is only getting more immense! So with both the first two episodes now live, this is the place to be to see how to watch Game of Thrones season 8, episode 3, no matter where you live. Watch Game of Thrones episode 3: stream from outside your countryWant to watch Game of Thrones season 8, episode 3 in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, India, UAE or New Zealand? We've found all of your best options and listed them below. But, if you find yourself in the unfortunate circumstances where you've booked a holiday over the air time of the first episode, then things get a bit more difficult. For those unlucky fans, all hope isn't lost yet. You will find that watching it won't be an option thanks to geo-blocking. This means that broadcasters do tend to try and stop you from watching in other countries, putting up some virtual roadblocks. But, thanks to a little bit of working around, there is still a way to catch all the episodes while you're away. By using a VPN, you will still be able to catch up on the show by changing your IP address to a location back where you live, allowing you to watch that important first episode (assuming that doesn't breach any TS&Cs, of course) - and that's without finding some dodgy stream on Reddit. New Honor 20 leak shows off the phone in a pink and white color Posted: 28 Apr 2019 06:30 AM PDT We know the Honor 20 phones are coming on May 21, but we didn't know much about what they would look like... until now. A new leak shows off a subtle pink and white gradient backing for what we assume is the standard Honor 20. First posted to Weibo, the image shows a quad-lens rear camera that hints this is the Honor 20 Pro, as well as the sleek color scheme. It's certainly more revealing than the last image we saw of the Honor 20, which actually came from the phone maker itself – here the phone was hidden in a Moschino bag to mark a partnership with the fashion brand. An earlier leak showed the same render in a teal color. You can see both images below – the three main camera lenses and a smaller 3D time-of-flight (ToF) depth sensor. In terms of internal specs and screen sizes we don't know too much about these upcoming phones, but expect mid-range components and a mid-range price to match when all is revealed in a few weeks' time. Based on the leaks and rumors we've come across so far, the Honor 20 Pro should end up featuring slightly higher specs or a slightly bigger screen than the standard model. And don't forget the Honor 20 Lite either – it sounds like this is going to have a triple-lens setup on the rear camera and might be an interesting option for those on a budget. Whatever Honor has ready to unveil on May 21, we're looking forward to seeing it and testing it out. We were impressed with what the Honor 10 had to offer last year, and it's successor should be a substantial upgrade. Via GSMArena This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |
Digital news anchors coming to local TV channels Posted: 28 Apr 2019 06:23 AM PDT Abu Dhabi Media (ADM) has signed a deal with the Chinese search engine Sogou to develop AI-driven news anchors- a digital version of a regular anchor, in Arabic and English for its channels. The agreement was signed by Ali Bin Tamim, Director General of ADM, and Wang Yanfeng, General Manager of Voice Interaction Technology Centre at Sogou, in the presence of Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of Artificial Intelligence. Yanfeng told TechRadar Middle East, that this is the first time that Sogou’s AI news anchor technology is being leveraged by an international media outside of China. China’s state news agency Xinhua has an AI anchor to report 365 days a year and 24 hours a day, in collaboration with Sogou in the Chinese language. Sogou will develop the English language for ADM within one year and the Arabic language following that. The anchor will be customized to resemble someone from the region. “The lifelike anchor is developed to simulate the facial movements, voice and gestures of real-life broadcasters through machine learning in real-time audio and video synthesis. Sogou’s technology not only provides solutions for traditional media channels but also works to facilitate more natural interactions between humans and machines” he said. Ali Bin Tamim, Director General of Abu Dhabi Media, said in a statement that the AI news anchor keeps pace with the company's efforts to develop all its brands according to strategic plans that aim to realize a quantum leap in providing media content across digital, TV, print, and audio platforms. ADM aims to create more quality content for the Arab WorldAl Olama said that the use of artificial intelligence and technological tools in the media sector will result in a qualitative leap forward within the media landscape in the UAE and the wider region. “The use of these advanced solutions will benefit the industry by enriching media content, supporting media research, and providing new opportunities for young professionals to build new skill sets suited to future media channels. The deployment of this advanced technology presents us with the opportunity to further define the future of the sector in a way that benefits all members of society.” Yanfeng said that the company is getting a lot of enquiries for its AI-driven technology from around the world and hopes to sign more agreements this year. “The technology can also be used for teachers, doctors and lawyers. Our next step is to launch an AI-driven lawyer in China next month,” he said. This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |
Google could be planning to get your smartphone to talk for you Posted: 28 Apr 2019 02:30 AM PDT Google IO 2019 starts in just a few days, and we're seeing more details trickle out about exactly what Google has in store at its big developer event – including a new feature aimed at people with speech impairments. As 9to5Google notes, the events list for Google IO includes a mention of Project Euphoria, which is apparently "leveraging Google technologies to give people with speech impairments their voice back". The session is being hosted by accessibility advocate Elise Roy and Harvard professor Michael Brenner, who is also a member of the Google Accelerated Science team.
Join those various dots together and it sounds like Project Euphoria could be the latest accessibility feature to hit Android, perhaps with the Android Q roll out: and it's potentially going to get your smartphone to talk for you. Wait and seeWe've seen Google demonstrate voice synthesizer technologies before – at last year's Google IO event for example, when it showed off how it was adding new voices to the Google Assistant platform. Project Euphoria is listed under an event called Designing for Accessibility, so it's not certain that this is a feature that's ready to go yet – it might be something that's launched further down the line. It could also be a standalone device rather than an app or a feature built into Android, but we're betting that some kind of machine learning is involved somewhere. We should hear more about this and plenty of other technologies and software that Google is working on when IO gets underway on May 7. As usual, we'll be bringing you all the news from the event. The Baku City Circuit was home to its first Grand Prix in 2017 and last year saw one of the best races of the season with plenty of drama. Ultimately it was Hamilton who won the race. Crashes were plentiful with Daniel Ricciardo, the 2017 winner at this course, and Max Verstappen colliding despite both being Red Bull drivers. Then, behind the safety car, Romain Grosjean smashed into a wall head-on. Debris from that madness led to Bottas ending the race early with just three laps left while Vettel had a flat tyre. But having set the lap record here it's Sebastian Vettel who could impress this year, presuming the 2017 winner Daniel Ricciardo doesn't get there first. All that said, Hamilton has won the last two races of the 2019 F1 season will want to continue that streak. You can catch all the racing action live from anywhere you happen to be using this guide.
