Best video editing computer 2019: the top PCs for editors and producers

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:19 PM PDT

Welcome to our pick of the best video editing computers of 2019. If you're a video editor or producer, than making sure you have a PC that's capable of handling large files and editing (and viewing) high-resolution videos is essential.

Because of the intensive nature of video editing, you'll want a PC that come with a discrete graphics card for rendering and converting raw footage. Plenty of RAM is also essential, as well as a multi-core processor, for making the video editing process as quick as possible.

A PC that's capable of professional video editing won't be cheap, but we've rounded up the very best video editing computers for a range of budgets – plus, our built-in price comparison tool will scour the internet to ensure you get the best deals on these impressive PCs.

iMac Pro price

The Apple iMac Pro is one of the most powerful PCs that Apple has ever made, and it's easily the best video editing computer money can buy right now. Speaking of money, you'll need quite a bit of it, as this is a very expensive machine. However, for the price you get sublime build quality, plus some of the most cutting-edge components on the market today. The Intel Xeon processor and AMD Verga 64 graphics card will make editing videos fast and smooth, and there's enough horsepower here to be able to preview your edits on the fly. Apple's software is also incredibly popular with creatives and video editors, as it's fast and reliable.

Packed with a Kaby Lake mobile processor and Nvidia Pascal graphics, the Surface Studio 2 is a lot more powerful than the original, and is a brilliantly-capable video editing computer. It features a stunning PixelSense display with Surface Pen support, which gives you a whole new way to interact and edit your video. It runs Windows 10, so software support is fantastic, and the 2TB SSD lets you store plenty of video footage in a speedly solid-state drive.

Corsair One Pro i180

The Corsair One Pro i180 is one of the most powerful PCs out there, which makes it one of the best video editing computers you can buy in 2019. It comes with an Intel Core i9-9920X, Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, 920GB NVMe M.2 SSD and 2TB hard drive. That’s some seriously impressive and cutting-edge hardware for video editing. Unlike the iMac Pro and the Surface Studio 2 above, the Corsair One Pro i180 lets you upgrade certain components yourself, making this a future-proof PC. It's also got an amazingly compact design that means it can easily sit on or under a desk. It's very expensive, though.

The Mac mini 2018 has been refreshed with modern hardware, bring Apple’s tiniest Mac into the modern age. It comes with an 8th-generation desktop processor, plenty of RAM and some of the fastest SSDs we’ve seen – all while keeping the same beloved compact form factor. What makes it an ideal video editing PC is that you can add an external graphics card to the Mac mini for added graphical prowess. You can also chain several Mac minis together and offload tasks onto each machine. This means you can use one Mac mini to render your video, while using another to complete other tasks. It's incredibly versatile, and good value as well.

Yes, another Mac computer on this list. However, Apple really does make some of the best video editing computers in the world, and this latest refresh of its iconic all-in-one iMac is worthy of inclusion on this list. It's packed with 8th- and 9th-generation desktop-class processors this time around with up to 8-cores for multitasking – essential if you're video editing. If you’re looking for an all-in-one Mac, the new 27-inch iMac is your best bet, at least if you’re not looking to spend huge amounts of money on the iMac Pro.

The cheapest Samsung Galaxy S8 unlocked SIM-free prices in July 2019

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:11 PM PDT

When it was released the Samsung Galaxy S8 held the spot of best phone in our eyes for quite a while. We have had a number of new winners like the S9 Plus, iPhone XR and most recently the S10, since but this is still a seriously great device.

We've been trawling through the best prices for unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8 handsets from the major retailers including the big hitters of Amazon and eBay to ensure you're getting the best price possible this month.

There is a bit of a choice to be made here as you can spend an extra £100 or so to go up a model and get the Galaxy S9 SIM free instead. But if you're all about saving those pennies this is the perfect option.

Buying SIM-free may well be the best route for you to get your hands on the phone rather than our selection of the best Galaxy S8 deals, which usually run for at least two years. If you're in a contract and want to replace phone you've lost or had been stolen, or whether you just don't want to enter a 24 month contract, this could be the best way to get the Galaxy S8 in your hands.

Once you've found your favorite deal for the Galaxy S8, we've also put together a selection of cheap SIM only deals for you to pick from too. There we have options for 12-month plans and even one month rolling contracts too so you can find the cheapest way of owning the Galaxy S8.

The best Nokia 6 deals and prices in July 2019

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:11 PM PDT

2017 was a busy year for Nokia. As if the re-release of the nostalgia-fuelled Nokia 3310 wasn't enough, the Finnish manufacturer launched three brand new mobiles in the February and its best ever in the summer.

First came the Nokia 3 - the brand's budget friendly Snake-less smartphone - quickly followed by the more premium Nokia 6. It's got a sleek metallic build, runs off a bloatware-free Android 7 Nougat and is one of the cheapest 'proper' mobile phones on the market. Then followed the cheaper Nokia 5 and most expensive in the range Nokia 8.

We're now firmly into 2019 and these devices are still well worth your consideration. TechRadar will help you source the best deal possible for your new Nokia 6. Our price comparison tool takes in prices from all the biggest retailers and resellers so that you can be assured the cheapest price - no matter if you need a contract deal or just the handset to team up with a bargain SIM only deal.

SIM free Nokia 6 prices

The Nokia 6 compares very favourably to other cheap handsets on the SIM-free phone scene. At less than £200 from Carphone Warehouse, it's better value than the likes of the iPhone SE and LG G5 to buy outright, but pricier than the contents of Motorola's bargain basement (i.e. Moto G5, G4 Plus, etc). Consider that you can grab a standalone SIM card for less than a fiver a month and a little bit of fancy footwork could get you a brilliant price overall.

Solid specs. Full HD display. Premium metal casing. And all for a very affordable price. There isn't much not to like about the Nokia 6. And possibly its best feature is the way it runs from the stock Android 7 interface, making it an absolute doddle to use.

For this budget, it's never going to match the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S9 for pure processing power, but you can always pay a little more for the Arte version if you think you'll need more RAM.

The best Sony Xperia XZ Premium deals in July 2019

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:11 PM PDT

When the Sony Xperia XZ Premium hit the shelves two years ago, it massively impressed us with its scintillating 4K display and beguiling slow motion camera. What didn't impress us was the price, which came in only a shade under the steep Samsung Galaxy S8 prices at the time.

Xperia XZ Premium deals got gradually cheaper in the months that followed -
probably thanks to the arrivals of the iPhone 8 and Galaxy Note 8. And now they have dropped even further (the world of iPhone XS Max and Note 9 prices tends to do that). The only cause for concern is that there now seem to be far fewer XZ Premium deals out there. It's as if the retailers have cleared the stock room to make room for the Xperia XZ2.

For the meantime though, we can tell you that the Sony Xperia XZ Premium is a bonafide hit and a genuine step up from the XZ. So use our comparison chart to pick out your perfect deal, before the phone disappears from the shelves completely.

Premium isn't merely a name when it comes to Sony's older flagship phone. The awesome 4K display and jaunty slow motion camera are just two great examples why the tech giant is charging top dollar for this mobile. If it's a big, fancy phone you're after, you won't be disappointed by the Xperia XZ Premium.

The best iPhone SE deals in July 2019

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:10 PM PDT

The iPhone SE may have been officially removed from the Apple Store, but the budget Apple smartphone continues to sell at some seriously rapid speeds. That's largely because this has been the cheapest iPhone on the market for quite a while now, but we can't imagine it will be here for that much longer.

The number of iPhone SE deals has dropped drastically in recent months, gone are the long list of deals costing just £15 a month, the big data offers and affordable mid-data contracts, what's left seems to be the random scraps. We'll be honest, at this point you're better off going for an iPhone 7 deal or iPhone 6S deal instead.

Following Apple's product launch back in September, it feels like the iPhone SE 2 is still no closer to being released. You could argue that the iPhone XR has taken its place as Apple's newest 'budget' phone but we're still holding out hope for a brand new rendition of the SE.

The tech world rejoiced when the iPhone SE was released. Finally, a new Apple phone that doesn't require you to remortgage your house and take on a second job - unlike iPhone XS Max deals!

So If cheap iPhone SE deals are what you seek (while they're still here), then you've definitely come to the right place. Use TechRadar's comparison chart to easily find the ideal plan, or scroll down further to find our pick of the best SE deals on the market.

iPhone SE review in Summary

Launched back in March 2016, the 'Special Edition' iPhone SE was a rare example of Apple dropping its entry-level price to allow bargain-hunters a piece of the iPhone pie. It reduced the screen size from the iPhone 6, but kitted it out with the same camera as the iPhone 6S. In short, it's a premium smartphone with a lower price tag – and we like that!

The best iPhone 5S deals in July 2019

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:10 PM PDT

It's been long replaced by the iPhone SE as Apple's go to budget handset, but if you're looking for a cheap iPhone then the iPhone 5S deals are worth considering before committing to your purchase. Unfortunately deals are now far between and we would recommend going for something newer like the iPhone 6S Plus or iPhone SE if you want an iPhone for a budget price.

Apple is no longer producing iPhone 5S handsets, and so it's no longer available on contract brand new from any of the major networks.

But if you're still interested you can still get one. Refurbished models come on to the market from time to time (although their prices don't look too good) and there are still plenty of retailers stocking the 5S handset only, and for well less than £200. So you could easily buy it SIM-free and then get hold of a cheap SIM only deal to put in it.

This will give you much more flexibility than getting it on contract anyway. We've built a dedicated comparison chart below showing all the best unlocked iPhone 5S prices, or hit the 'Handsets' tab at the top of the first table.

More options: iPhone SE deals | iPhone X deals | iPhone 6S deals | iPhone 6 deals | iPhone deals | SIM only deals

iPhone 5S debuted Apple's newfangled fingerprint sensor and 64-bit processor three years ago, and it's still a viable smartphone for anyone on a budget. It's held up well enough with a good camera and iOS 11 software update - just don't expect the specs of the iPhone X!

The best iPhone 6 deals in July 2019

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:10 PM PDT

It's now well over four years (doesn't time just fly!) since the release of the iPhone 6 and it seems that it is beginning to die out, falling from the list of the best iPhones.

Although you can still get iPhone 6 deals, many brands have stopped selling them and we would recommend going for the iPhone 6S deals instead. But if your heart really is set on this device, grab it fast while there are still deals around.

Since its release we have seen devices all the way up from the iPhone 7 to the iPhone XR but the iPhone 6 is still a great device (if you can find the right deal).

And luckily for you, dear reader, you don't have to search anymore because we've done all the research for you - we've rounded up the UK's best contract deals for Apple's iPhone 6.

The good news is that the price of the iPhone 6 has fallen through the floor. Now with plenty of deals under £20 a month, there's never been a better time to pick up this still-fantastic phone. And we'd advise against waiting to buy, as we don't see it falling much further now.

With the deals you can grab in our comparison chart below, you can fill your boots with unlimited texts and minutes, as well as a healthy slug of data. Buy buy BUY!

Unlike more recent entries in the iPhone ouevre, Apple made a genuine leap forward from the iPhone 5S with its successor. The iPhone 6 remains one of the best phones Apple has ever created or, indeed, ever created by any manufacturer. At the time of release, its faster CPU, better graphics and slicker interface really made it seem worth the high price - so now it's a bonafide bargain!

The best Huawei P10 deals in July 2019

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:10 PM PDT

The Huawei P10 was one of the better Android phones that was released in 2017, taking the game to the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S8. Here we'll tell you how to get your hands (and wallets) on the very best Huawei P10 deals.

Now succeeded by not only the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro, but now also the P30 and P30 Pro, the P10 is an older but now extremely affordable phone. We've put a bunch of the best deals together in one place.

If you use our bespoke comparison chart below, you'll find the very cheapest contracts on the market right now. Some of the deals have lots of data, there are some without an upfront cost and some deals are just plain cheap, so we can get you the best deal on your new phone.

Unless you're after unfeasible amounts of data, you shouldn't have to pay any more than around £25 a month for your new Huawei P10 deal and there are even tariffs coming in under £20pm - that's exceptional value for a phone that, despite its age, is still full of features.

Huawei P10 deals

The P10 may not be a massive upgrade from the Huawei P9, but that didn't stop it from being a serious contender to the best Android phones when it first came out. It may now be a few years old but it will appeal to people who are trying to save a few bucks on their phone contract. The design is still beautiful and considering how much you're paying, this is a pretty powerful piece of kit. And as the Huawei P20 doesn't really kick on too much, the P10 may be a better option if you want to keep things affordable.

The best Carphone Warehouse deals in July 2019

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:10 PM PDT

Carphone Warehouse is the UK's biggest phone retailer and a superb place to browse the latest mobile phone deals. Indeed, not only is Carphone the UK's biggest, it's also the largest independent telecoms retailer in Europe. It sells the widest range of handsets in the UK across almost all the main UK networks - Vodafone, EE and O2 as well as its own network, iD.

- Carphone Warehouse's best pay monthly deals

- Carphone Warehouse's best SIM-free phone prices

We'll help you narrow down the retailer's best prices on the market's flagship phones - including the likes of the iPhone XR, Samsung Galaxy S10 and Google Pixel 3 - using our industry-leading price comparison below.

After our comparison widget, read on to find out the best Carphone Warehouse deals on these and many more handsets. Plus, we'll tell you all you need to know about buying a handset through Carphone Warehouse.

  • Not bothered about buying from Carphone? Then be sure to check out our all-encompassing guide to the best mobile phone deals

The best deals on the best phones at Carphone Warehouse:

Carphone Warehouse pay as you go phones

As you might know, pay as you go (PAYG) deals don't tie you into any kind of contract whatsoever. You simply buy a phone from Carphone Warehouse and then top up your minutes, texts and data when you need it (you'll know when you've run out). You also don't get credit checked, which you do with any type of pay monthly contract. Lots of handsets are available from Carphone on PAYG deals including phones from Samsung, Sony and Motorola. View all the Carphone Warehouse pay as you go deals

Carphone Warehouse upgrades

Carphone Warehouse offers upgrades across the networks it offers on pay monthly and, what's more, you don't need to have bought from the retailer before. You can use Carphone's online upgrade checker to see if you're eligible. Some networks will even let you upgrade early such as O2, which lets you upgrade 30 days before the end of your current deal.

Note that you'll need to enter all your network details into the upgrade checker so Carphone Warehouse can check with your network. So it's best to have your bill to hand.

Will Carphone Warehouse let me keep my number?

In a word, yes. You need to ask your current network for your PAC code (it's the code that lets you move your phone number from one network to another, called a Porting Authorisation Code).

Once you've got the PAC it's valid for 30 days - so don't hang about! if it expires you'll need to get another one.

Next, buy your new phone from Carphone Warehouse and tell them your PAC and your number will be transferred within a few days. If your new phone is on Virgin you'll need to call them directly once your phone is connected.

Trade ins with Carphone Warehouse

We all like a new phone, but if you're just stuffing your old handsets into a drawer then you're missing out, because you can get decent cash for your old handset. Carphone Warehouse offers a decent trade in scheme, with many two year old handsets still worth £200 - worth doing! Carphone will send you a packet to use to send in your handset, too.

Check out how much your handset is worth.

Mobiles.co.uk and e2save

If you've been extensively hunting the web for the best price on your new mobile, you may have come across Mobiles.co.uk and e2save. These two websites are part of the Carphone Warehouse family, but frequently come up with much better prices than Carphone manages itself.

Mobiles.co.uk features brilliant deals on the majority of the current flagship phones and if you enter the code 10OFF at the checkout, you'll save an extra tenner on the upfront price of the handset. e2save usually offers better value on older, budget phones - so if spending a lot on a new phone doesn't hold much appeal, click on the link above to see if they can help you out.

Who is Carphone Warehouse?

Carphone Warehouse is the UK's largest phone retailer that sells the widest range of handsets in the UK across almost all the main UK networks - Vodafone, EE, Virgin and O2 as well as its own network, iD which is fantastic for budget deals and SIM only offerings.

Originally started in a London flat in 1989, Carphone Warehouse grew to have 20 stores by 1994 and floated in 2000. In 2014 it merged with Dixons Retail to form Dixons Carphone, hence why many Currys PC World stores now incorporate Carphone Warehouse concessions. The retail giant owns the iD network. It's a virtual network that uses the Three mobile network.

How to contact Carphone Warehouse

If you need to contact Carphone Warehouse, you can do so via this page depending on what you need to do. If you need buying advice, there's also a large section of frequently asked questions to help you.

What Carphone Warehouse locations are near me?

There are over 2,400 Carphone Warehouse stores across Europe, including 1,100 in the UK. There are also many inside or alongside branches of Currys PC World. Find your local Carphone Warehouse using the Store Locator.

The cheapest iPhone SE unlocked SIM-free prices in July 2019

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:09 PM PDT

Smartphones are getting ever bigger, yet our hands are staying the same size. It means those with smaller palms, pockets and bags can find themselves a little overwhelmed by the likes of the iPhone XR and Samsung Galaxy S10.

Help is at hand though, and for those looking for a more manageable iPhone, Apple has the perfect device - the iPhone SE. What's even better, is this smaller smartphone also comes with a smaller price tag.

And we've done the hard yards to unearth the best prices on unlocked iPhone SE handsets, trawling major retailers such as Amazon and eBay to make sure that you don't end up paying over the odds.

The iPhone SE is only three years old, and boasts the newer iPhone features such as Apple Pay and the Touch ID fingerprint scanner - so it's not like you'll be left behind in the tech department if you pick up this 4-inch phone.

We can only assume that you're looking for a new SIM-free phone deal to replace a lost or stolen phone (We really do sympathise). But perhaps you're looking to save a little cash by combining a bargain iPhone SE with a cheap SIM only deal. You can buy a new SIM for a small amount, so combining the two could save you a packet on a standard contract deal. Plus, you can go for a 12-month or even 30-day plan rather than committing to two years.

So before you start typing in credit card deals for your new phone deal, make sure to have a good look at the below table first. TechRadar's custom-made price comparison chart will ensure you pay the very least.

The cheapest iPhone 6 unlocked SIM-free prices in July 2019

Three years after launch, you may have your eye on the iPhone 6 as an affordable SIM free handset. With the iPhone 7 costing an arm and a leg - and with a whole troop of handsets launched since (all the way from the iPhone 8 through to the XR) - the iPhone 6 represents a still-superb Apple flagship phone that you can buy for less.

And we've done the hard yards to unearth the best prices on unlocked iPhone 6 handsets, trawling through the major retailers such as Amazon and eBay to make sure that you don't end up paying over the odds.

Chances are that you're probably looking for a new SIM-free phone deal to replace a lost or stolen phone (you have our sympathies!). But perhaps you're looking to save a little cash by combining a bargain iPhone 6 with a cheap SIM only deal. You can buy a new SIM for only a tiny amount, so combining the two could save you a packet on a standard contract deal. The cheapest iPhone 6S unlocked SIM-free prices in July 2019

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:09 PM PDT

A lot of devices have come out since the iPhone 6S but the issue is that a lot of them are seriously expensive. Seeing the price tag of the iPhone XS Max is more than enough to make you run back to the comforting prices of the 6S!

The shape, screen size and resolution of the newer phones is the same as on the 6S, so you can buy the cheapest model of the three and still have a very similar experience.

And that’s where we come in: we’ve done the hard work in rooting through the likes of Amazon, eBay and the other major retailers to work out where the best unlocked iPhone 6S handsets are lurking, so you don’t end up spending too much.

If you’re looking for a SIM free phone deal, then the chances are you’re looking to upgrade an older iPhone, or (sadly) replace a broken or lost handset - if that’s the case, then you’ll enjoy the power and performance on offer from the iPhone 6S.

If you’re upgrading from an iPhone 5S, for instance, you’ll love the larger screen that lets you do so much more - and if you combine it with with a cheap SIM only deal you’ll be able to get online for very little without being tied into a long-term contract.

So have a look below at TechRadar’s custom-made price comparison chart to ensure you pay a great price for your new phone.

We'll tell it to you straight, we like the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge A LOT. Until the Galaxy S8 came along in fact, it held the title of our very favourite phone in the world. Now two years since its release, the S7 Edge remains an exceptional mobile and one of the only models we've ever awarded a perfect five stars.

But age is now taking it's toll on the quality of deals available. Some major retailers and networks are now beginning to withdraw S7 Edge deals from sale and we're guessing that the availability of the Samsung's newer devices like the Galaxy S10 and Note 9 isn't a pure coincidence.

The best Nokia 8 deals in July 2019

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:09 PM PDT

2017 marked Nokia's renaissance year. After stunning us by announcing it was revamping the Nokia 3310 and then releasing a further three mobiles, it ended the year by releasing its first high-powered smartphone in three years - the Nokia 8.

Almost two years on and although it's never going to challenge the power of Samsung and Apples newer devices, it does have the kind of price tag that will appeal to people who want to get a bargain mobile phone. Especially excellent value, considering the stunning design, premium screen and chipset, and new 'Bothie' camera mode.

Unlike most flagship phones released in the last 12 months, you can now get your new Nokia 8 for less than £20 per month! Check out our comparison tool to see the best tariffs that have been announced. Considering the standalone handset costs around £400, the contract prices are looking like a much better option.

It's been a while, but Nokia is finally back with a serious phone. Of course we were all delighted to see the return of the Nokia 3310 through a nostalgic haze, but if Nokia was going to be regarded as a genuine threat to the likes of Samsung, Apple and LG again, it needed a handset of heft.

The Nokia 8 is exactly that. Not in its dimensions, mind you - weighing in it at 160g, it's a slim, sleek and sometimes shiny smartphone. We're referring more to the dazzling QHD 5.3-inch display, 4GB Ram and Snapdragon 835 chipset. All massive plus points in our eyes, even if the much touted 'Bothie' camera mode probably isn't.

The best HTC U11 deals in July 2019

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:08 PM PDT

The HTC U11 had the hard task of attracting consumers' attention away from the vice-like grip on the phones market of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8. But HTC managed to create a device that rivalled those devices when they were released. A year has passed now and yet this phone is still a serious contender in the mobile phone market.

The HTC U11 (don't forget that all important 'U') is another push from the manufacturer to keep its name as a front-running handset manufacturer. Edge Sense is the new element that the brand is pushing as its latest big innovation - as you'll see from our HTC U11 review below - it's certainly alternative. And the phone now comes with Alexa integration, too.

It's now a little cheaper, too, with monthly tariffs starting at less than £30. That's a lot cheaper than HTC U11 deals were when the handset went on sale. Check out our comparison chart to tailor-make your perfect HTC U11 deal.

The best Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL deals in July 2019

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:08 PM PDT

The Google Pixel 2, the 2017 apple of the search giant's smartphone eye, is almost at an end. The Pixel 2 may soon be dead, but long live the Pixel - the Google Pixel 3 has been here for a little while now and has replaced it entirely.

If you've been fancying the Pixel 2 for a while and really don't want to splash the cash on the much costlier new phone, then you'll have to strike pretty swiftly as we're not sure how much longer this device will stay relevant. And the same goes for the Google Pixel 2 XL.

Whichever handset you covet, you can use our price comparison below to identify the best Pixel 2 deal for you. Google's quest to build a smartphone as popular as the latest iPhone and Samsung Galaxy flagship mobiles took a massive step forward when the original Google Pixel launched last year. And its successor - the aptly named Google Pixel 2 - continued the stellar work and now the Google Pixel 3 has stepped that up even further.

Need some more convincing? Use the 10OFF voucher code from Mobiles.co.uk that knocks a tenner off the upfront cost of any deal from that retailer - it's exclusive to TechRadar readers. And there's a summary of our expert review at the bottom of the page.

There's no doubt that the Pixel 2 was one of the very finest Android phones out there on release (and, to be fair, remains so), but the Pixel's successor is a familiar story of incremental improvements rather than whole-scale change. The feature that might just get you buying are the top-of the-line cameras for photos and video. While the delightful screen, great-sounding speakers and slick Android operating system will all appeal to a range of smartphone users.

Fans of the old Blackberry devices rejoice because the physical keyboard is back - what a comeback story. The BlackBerry KEYone landed on the phone scene almost two years ago and (whisper it quietly) it's still actually rather good.

We've been keeping a keen eye on the best Blackberry bargains out there, and the prices continue to slowly fall. Unlike when it was released, you can now get the KEYone on contract for way less than £20 per month - and now even under the £20-mark! And you don't have to scrimp on data either. Check out our price comparison tool and you'll see that these BlackBerry deals compare handsomely with some of the other best mobile phone deals out there.

Equipped with an updated version of that keyboard, Full HD screen and 12MP main camera, the Blackberry KEYone runs off Android. It may not quite be a match for the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, but it's not far off and it's way cheaper.

The BlackBerry KEYOne is the smartphone for anyone who has ever said ‘I miss my old BlackBerry.’ We can't fault it for admirably resurrecting the best of BlackBerry: a physical keyboard, sophisticated-looking, two-tone design and smart, secure software. It looks and feels like it’s meant for business.

Exiled BlackBerry users who have felt forced to trade their physical keyboards for on-screen keyboards will undoubtedly rejoice.

The best Samsung Galaxy S7 deals in July 2019

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:08 PM PDT

The Samsung Galaxy S7 may now be over two years old but it is by no means a bad device. In fact, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is a great handset for bargain hunters. You've probably seen the insanely-great Samsung Galaxy S9 or Note 9 or even Samsung's newest Galaxy S10, but then also seen the prices and decided to see what else is on offer. Bag a Galaxy S7 deal and you'll get a fantastic phone for a reasonable price.

2016's Galaxy S7 - together with the bigger S7 Edge - is still a very good handset in its own right, sharing a lot of the battery management power and camera smarts from its successor the Galaxy S8. You can see a potted review under our top handpicked deals below and it's soooooo much cheaper than the newer Samsung smartphones.

You can easily get away with bills in the low twenties. Or, if you're prepared to part with around £50 at the outset, you can even get them below the £20 mark. And big data deals now come cheap, too. Excellent value when you consider that the S7 used to be one of the best phones around. You will notice though that the majority of deals still going for this device are on EE, it seems to have knocked all other competing networks off the list.

The Galaxy S6 definitely left some room for improvement and, thankfully, Samsung tinkered and tweaked the design to make one heck of a successor. The Galaxy S7 is iterative perfection -  it doesn't reinvent the wheel, but Samsung clearly listened to the feedback and criticism to create a stand-out device.
